
Armed robbers in the early hours of Wednesday, May 21, 2025 struck Efab Global Estate located in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According the report, the robbers entered the estate through the rear perimeter fence before tying up two security personnel, injuring another.
The robbers forced one of the victims to make a transfer to a bank account.
This was made known in a post on X by Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert focused on the Lake Chad region, disclosing that the thieves made away with mobile phones and laptops during the attack.
The security expert narrated that Police sources informed him that the incident occurred around 0405 hours, prompting a distress call to the Divisional Police Officer at Life Camp Division.
“The sources, according to Makama, further stated that Police patrol teams responded quickly. However, the suspects had fled the scene before their arrival.
It was learnt that the injured security guard was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) for treatment.
Makama added that security has since been strengthened around the estate.
