The Nigerian Army’s payroll transactions for 2024 amounted to a staggering N139.1bn, according to data from a portal documenting government expenditures, Govspend. The transactions, recorded between February and October 2024, cover salary payments for the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Army University Biu and were paid from the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System to
