It is raining babies and the Nigerian internet has never been more grateful. Simi and Adekunle Gold have just welcomed a new addition, and now the Cole family has announced that theirs is growing too, because apparently the universe decided to bless us all in the same breath.
Wofai Fada and her husband Taiwo Cole dropped a pregnancy reveal video and it is genuinely one of the loveliest things on the internet right now. We are talking golden park lighting, a yellow clothesline hung with the tiniest onesies you have ever seen, a toddler in a pink dress holding a sunflower, and Wofai herself in a cream tiered maxi skirt and puff-sleeved crop top with a crocheted floral headpiece that should not work as well as it does but absolutely does. Taiwo shows up in a cream tunic and burgundy trousers and the two of them are so obviously happy that watching it feels slightly intrusive, in that way that only the best family videos do.
She appears in a cream two-piece outfit — a puff-sleeved crop top with large button details and a matching tiered maxi skirt that frames her bump beautifully, finished with a white crocheted floral headpiece and chunky gold bangles. Taiwo coordinates beside her in a cream tunic and deep burgundy trousers, and together they move through the video sharing quiet, joyful moments that feel genuinely unposed. A yellow clothesline strung with baby onesies — one reading “Hugs are all I need,” another “Voted Most Handsome” — anchors the whole thing in something warm and specific. And then there is their daughter, Ifedayo, in a light pink floral dress, holding a large sunflower, being lifted into the air by her parents, and pressing her small hand gently against her mother’s bump.

The onesies say “Hugs are all I need” and “Voted Most Handsome.” Their daughter Ifedayo, who clearly has no idea how adorable she is, presses her hand against her mum’s bump at one point and that is genuinely it. That is the whole video in one image.
Wofai captioned it “New chapter, same love story. Love makes the belly go round,” and also squeezed in a birthday message to Taiwo, because apparently one major announcement was not enough for one day. We respect it.
The couple married traditionally in May 2024 and legally in October of the same year. Their first daughter, Ifedayo Konaghai Cole, arrived in November 2024 and was announced with the caption “Our princess is here. My joy is complete.” That princess is now about to have a whole sibling, and based on how she handled that sunflower, she is going to be an excellent big sister.
