Ballon d’Or: Without a doubt – Ruben Dias names player to win award

Manchester City defender, Ruben Dias, has said his team-mate Rodri should win the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.

In an interview with ESPN Brazil, Dias pointed out that Rodri enjoyed “an impressive season”.

The Spain midfielder won the Premier League with City and the Euros with his country.

Dias said: “Rodri should win the Ballon d’Or! He had an impressive season.

“Not one… many in a row. He won the Euros, which is not found in every generation.

“Without a doubt a special player.”

Rodri will go head-to-head for the Ballon d’Or with hot favourite Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe.
