Former President Muhammadu Buhari will be buried in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State today, July 14, in accordance with Islamic rites. Buhari passed away at a clinic in London, where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness, at 4:30 pm on Sunday, July 13. President Bola Tinubu dispatched Vice President Kashim Shettima to London to accompany Buharis corpse back to Nigeria for burial. The former Presidents remains would arrive the country early Monday to be flown to his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, for burial.
