Edo Commissioner risks contempt charge for appointing acting LG chairman

Esiegbe had in a letter dated February 3, 2025, appointed Osaheni, who is the Head of Local Government Administration of the Council, as Acting Chairman. The appointment followed the failure of the legislative arm of the Council to impeach the elected Chairman, Dr. Tom Obaseki and his deputy.
