Elon Musk resumes attack against Trump’s policy, threatens to form new party

Tech millionaire, Elon Musk has issued a stark warning via his social media platform X against President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill”.

The warning came on Monday as the Republican’s landmark spending and tax cut bill, faces judgment day in the Senate.

Trump has insisted that the bill is stuffed full of his campaign trail promises and second-term priorities on tax cuts, immigration, defense, energy and the debt limit.

However, the Tesla CEO threatened that if the bill, which he christened ‘insane spending bill’, passes, the America Party will be formed the next day.

DAILY POST reports that Musk had railed against Trump’s policy bill, leading to a public and ugly fight with the US President earlier this month.

In a series of posts on X on Monday, Musk proposed starting a new political party if the bill passes.

According to him, every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame.

Musk also threatened they will lose their primary next year even if it is the last thing he will do on the earth.

“If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day.

“Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE,” Musk wrote.
