The crackdown forms part of a broader state-wide initiative by the Lagos State Government to curb street-level crime and restore public order.
It specifically targets miscreants, street urchins, hooligans, pickpockets, and other suspected criminal elements whose activities pose a threat to residents and commuters.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to sustaining such proactive enforcement efforts to ensure a safer and more secure Lagos.
“During the exercise, 41 suspects were arrested and sanity was restored,” the statement noted.
