Enyimba fall 0-1 to Plateau Utd in Aba, as NPFL season ends

Enyimba Football Club of Aba on Sunday, lost at home to Plateau United of Jos in week 38 of the Nigerian Professional Football League match.

Yusuf Abdullahi scored the only goal of the match in the 40th minutes for Plateau.

The Jos boys would have taken the lead in the 13th minutes if not for a great save produced by Enyimba goal keeper, Ani Ozoemena.

The game which was the last match of the season in the NPFL, also saw Enyimba playing their last home game for 2024/2025.

Similarly, Abia Warriors of Umuahia were beaten 3-2 by Ikorodu City .

But despite the 3-2 loss, Abia Warriors stil qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup.
