Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has named Cole Palmer as the best player during Chelsea’s Premier League 3-1 win against Liverpool on Sunday.
According to Neville, the England international was a joy to watch during the encounter.
Palmer scored Chelsea’s third goal via a late penalty to give Enzo Maresca’s side all three points against Arne Slot’s side at Stamford Bridge.
Enzo Fernandez had given Chelsea the lead after just three minutes and Jarell Quansah’s own goal put the hosts 2-0 up at halftime before Virgil van Dijk scored a goal for the visitors in the second.
“He is the best player on the pitch by an absolute street,” Neville said on Sky Sports commentary.
“He’s been brilliant today, he really has.
“It’s been a brilliant performance from Palmer. He’s been a joy to watch.
“He deserved that goal because he is been the difference. A class act on the pitch throughout.”
