Europa League: They’ve good chance – Paul Parker predicts team to win trophy

Former Manchester United defender, Paul Parker has backed the Red Devils to win the UEFA Europa League this season.

Parker believes Ruben Amorim’s side have a good chance to lift the Europe’s second top-flight competition.

Man United are in the semi-final of the Europa League this term.

The Premier League club will take on Spanish side Athletic Club in the last-4 first leg tie on Thursday night.

United head to the semi-final stage after eliminating French Ligue 1 club Lyon from the Europa League quarter-final stage last month.

“When you look at it, United have been awful this season, but if they were to win it [the Europa League] – there would be no argument. They’d have a bit of silverware,” Parker said via iGaming as quoted by Metro UK.

“At this moment in time, you have to say United have a good chance of winning it [the Europa League],” he said.

The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm, Nigerian time.
