Gunmen abduct wife, daughter of Kaduna district head

Gunmen have abducted Harira Abdullahi, the wife of the District Head of Aboro in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Alhaji Shuaibu Suleiman Galadima, alongside his daughter, Maryam Suleiman Galadima. The incident occurred around 7:36 pm on Sunday, April 27, when the attackers stormed the district heads residence and whisked away the two women, DailyTrust reports. A resident of the community told the publication that residents immediately mobilised to rescue the abducted victims. But as we followed them into the bush to try and rescue the kidnapped persons, the gunmen opened fire on us.
