Hippopotamus kills 60-year-old Emir’s guard in Kebbi

According to report, 60 years old Maigadi was attacked by the hippopotamus while he was fishing in Yauri River at Tillo Village in Yauri Local Government of Kebbi state. There were speculations that the animal may have perceived Maigadi as coming to harm its baby, hence the attack in self- defence.
