Jeff Bezos has dismissed recent reports about an imminent wedding to his fiance Lauren Sanchez as completely false, slamming the media for spreading what he called baseless stories. Reacting to rumors that he and Sanchez were tying the knot next weekend in Aspen, Bezos said, "This whole thing is completely false none of this is happening. The old adage, 'don't believe everything you read,' is even more true today than it ever has been." The Amazon founder didnt stop there, adding, "Now lies can get ALL the way around the world before the truth can get its pants on."
The reports claimed that Bezos and Sanchez were planning to exchange vows at Kevin Costners Aspen ranch, followed by a reception at the upscale sushi restaurant Matsuhisa, which Bezos was said to have rented out for up to 180 guests. While Bezos could easily afford such a lavish celebration, he categorically denied that the event was for a wedding. Although the couple hasnt revealed when they plan to make it official, wedding preparations seem to be on their minds. Sanchez previously mentioned that shes been thinking about her wedding dress, keeping speculation about their future plans alive. The post
