Kano CJ orders release of 37 inmates

The Chief Judge of Kano State, Justice Dije Abdu-Aboki, on Monday, ordered the release of 37 inmates from the Goron Dutse Medium Security Custodial Centre, as part of ongoing efforts to decongest the state’s correctional facilities. The decision to release the inmates was driven by two main factors: their deteriorating health conditions and their prolonged
