Katsina: Bandits kill one, kidnap several in fresh attack

Armed bandits stormed Mai Bakko community in Southern Katsina on Wednesday night, killing one person and kidnapping several others, including women and children.

This was contained in a statement by a security analyst, Bakatsine, on his X handle on Thursday.

Bakatsine, raised concerns over the rising wave of attacks in Southern Katsina following the recent peace deal with bandits in Kaduna State.

“Yesterday night, bandits stormed Mai Bakko community, killed one person and kidnapped several people in the community including children and women.

“It is worrying that bandit attacks have increased in Southern Katsina communities after the peace deal with bandits in Kaduna State,” Bakatsine stated.
