The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has confirmed his meeting with the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde in Ibadan.
DAILY POST earlier reported that Kwankwaso and other NNPP leaders stormed Ibandan on Wednesday for a meeting with the governor.
Confirming the development, Kwankwaso in a terse post on his official Facebook page said the discussion focused on pressing national issues.
He wrote, “Today I paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, at the Government House in Ibadan.
“Our conversation focused on important priorities and pressing national issues”.
Although he didn’t give details of the meeting, DAILY POST learnt that it is not unconnected to the forthcoming General elections.
