LaLiga: I’ll not compare him with Messi – Deco confirms player to be face of Barcelona

Barcelona director, Deco, has confirmed that Lamine Yamal can be the face and reference of the club for many years.

The Portuguese, however, refused to compare Yamal with the club’s legend, Lionel Messi.

Messi was the face of Barcelona for many years before he left the Blaugrana for Paris Saint-Germain a few years ago.

Speaking about Yamal’s future, Deco told Rac1:

“For sure Lamine can be a main face and reference for this club for several years.

“I’m not gonna compare him with Messi or others… we love to have Lamine at our club, take care of him and appreciate him”.
