A man identified as Samson has killed himself after breakup with his girlfriend in Ozoro Community, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was learnt that the deceased drank the substance suspected to be sniper and ended his life on Sunday night.
This is coming a few months after his electronic shop was burnt down in the same town.
Neighbours said the hardship became severe that his girlfriend, who he had been supporting, abandoned him for another man.
When contacted for comments on the reports, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe promised to investigate and revert to our correspondent in Warri.
