Nollywood filmmaker Mildred Okwo has taken to social media to accuse some movie producers of collecting funds for the advancement of the film industry without any results to show for it.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Mildred stated that some filmmakers were at the frontline collecting money for the betterment of the industry, while those really doing the work are in dire need of funds and are stuck on set.
The popular movie producer and director also raised concerns about the lack of transparency and accountability in government-sponsored programs meant to aid Nollywood’s expansion.
