The Nigeria Navy said its troops of Forward Operating Base, FOB, IGBOKODA have discovered and deactivated an illegal storage site with 1 fibre boat, 1 wooden boat, 1 generator, 1 pumping machine and several jerrycans containing illegally refined AGO in Bajakere community, Ilaje LGA, Ondo State

Announcing the successes recorded on its verified Facebook account on Friday, it wrote;

“Operation DELTA SANITY: On Sunday 22 December 2024, Forward Operating Base (FOB) IGBOKODA discovered and deactivated an illegal storage site with 1 fibre boat, 1 wooden boat, 1 generator, 1 pumping machine and several jerrycans containing illegally refined AGO in Bajakere community, Ilaje LGA, Ondo State.

“Subsequently, on Tuesday 24 December 2024, the FOB IGBOKODA special team intercepted and impounded a wooden boat laden with a large quantity of illegally refined AGO in Mahin Riverine Community, Ilaje LGA, Ondo State.”

The Navy Authority also displayed several exhibits recovered at the scene which is also attached to the report.
