Kada Warriors head coach, Danlami Kwasau Umar says his team’s commitment was key to their relegation survival in the Nigeria National League, NNL.

The Kaduna-based club survived relegation on the final day of the regular season with a 2-1 victory over Adamawa United.

Danlami Umar’s side finished in sixth position with 15 points from 12 matches in the NNL Group D table.

Umar assured that the team will regroup and get better for next season.

“Since the day I took over at the club coach the commitment from me and the players has been top notch,” Umar told the club’s media.

“We knew that we had to do everything to survive which we eventually did, as it is the team is already taking shape and it’s a work in progress.

“It’s a different thing when you trying to survive and when you playing for promotion with this we will restart and see how we can get it done next season.”
