The Makurdi club was relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, last season.
Lobi Stars are expected to engage in a number of friendlies ahead of the new season.
The Pride of Benue will play in the Nigeria National League,NNL, in the new campaign, and hope for a quick return to the top-flight.
In a related development, all staff members are expected to attend a crucial meeting with the club’s management on Monday, July 7, 2025.
The meeting will hold at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Creativity.
