Nasarawa United technical director, Kabiru Dogo, has expressed optimism despite his team’s disappointing 1-1 home draw with Rivers United.
John Joshua put Nasarawa United in front in the early minutes of the game, while Kabir Abdullahi equalized for Rivers United from the spot five minutes after the break.
Dogo said that his players failed to convert the chances they created in the game.
“We are disappointed with the draw, but we will take the point and move on,” Dogo told Nasarawa United’s media.
“We created enough chances to win the game today, but sometimes, it just doesn’t go your way.
“My wards gave their all in this game, and you can attest to this fact and many other things that happened in the game.”
