The Ogun Police Command has commenced programmes to commemorate the National Police Day slated for 7th April 2025 in line with the declaration by IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Ph.D, following the  presidential directive to establish an annual National Police Day in recognition of the invaluable contributions and commitment of our officers to nation building. In a statement released, CSP Omolola Oditola, apokesperson of the command, said the Command will seize the opportunity to strengthen collaborations with our communities to engender public trust through Police Public Engagement.EVENTS Wednesday, 2nd April 2025.* Flag off of the re- construction of POWA Acquisition Centre at Command Hq., Eleweran.  Thursday, 3rd April, 2025, * Town Hall meeting with critical stakeholders on challenges and collective solutions to security challenges.  Friday, 4th April, 2025*Community Engagement: Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers will interface with the public on the importance of National Police Day. Saturday, 5th April, 2025 *Free medical services: free medical services will be available to community members to enhance public health. *Sanitisation and cleanup of public spaces. She added that the Ogun State Command warmly invite members of the public to join in the celebration.  The post Ogun police command commemorates National Police day appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
