Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola has reacted to his team's poor performance in the past few weeks in all competitions.
Pep Guardiola was speaking in a press conference ahead of this weekend's clash against Liverpool at Anfield after the disappointing result against Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League.
He said,
"We are second in the Premier League table, we are not in a good moment in terms of results, but I have the feeling in general that we played more than decent, but not enough to win games. We will be back, I know that. I don't know when. That is the truth. One game is not going to change the feeling as how we are as a team. What I will ask is not a result, is for the players to come back. That is what I would like, to have the team, like we created at the beginning of the season, going everywhere to be who we are."
Manchester City have been in terrible form for the past six games, losing five in a row and a draw across all competitions. This is Pep Guardiola’s worst form in his managerial career, the highest number of defeats he has managed was three which was when he was at Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Manchester City are currently eight points behind league leaders, Liverpool Football Club.
