Peseiro absent as CAF unveils 2024 Coach of the Year nominees

Nigeria’s AFCON 2023 silver medal-winning coach Jose Peseiro has been left out of the Confederation of African Football’s Coach of the Year shortlist for 2024. A post on Thursday by CAF via X revealed that the ten-man shortlist features several prominent names from across the continent, including Angola’s Pedro Goncalves and Burkina Faso’s Brahima Traore.
