Akwa United technical adviser, Kennedy Boboye, has charged his players to approach the President Federation Cup last eight tie against Kwara United like a cup final.
The Promise Keepers will battle with Kwara United at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Saturday.
Boboye charged his players to be ready for difficult test.
“We all know that the Federation Cup is a knockout competition and as such, we must not leave any stone unturned, We have to approach the match with an amount of commitment, focus and seriousness with the ultimate aim of securing one of the four semi-final tickets,” Boboye told the club’s media.
“We will be facing a fellow Premier League team for the first time in this competition, and we should be ready to go all out and give our best.
“We shouldn’t expect to have an easy game but a tough one. It may be a game of few chances so we have to make the best use of the opportunities that will come our way to ensure we achieve our aim of advancing to the next round.”
