State of emergency is plot to take over economic soul of Rivers —Actress Hilda Dokubo

Sultry Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo has taken to social media to condemn the state of emergency declaration imposed on Rivers State by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The thespian, in a post shared on her Instagram page, described the decision by President Tinubu as ‘shameless’ and a plot to take over the economic soul of Rivers State.

She further stated that President Tinubu declared a state of emergency because of one man in a scheme aimed at possibly annexing Rivers State.

‘‘State of emergency because for two years we have had peace! State of emergency because you want to capture the economy soul of Rivers State!

‘‘State of emergency because of one man? Shameless! Perhaps Mr President should say he wants to annex Rivers State,’’ the actress wrote on her Instagram page.
