
Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has confirmed that he will return to the Santiago Bernabéu for the upcoming match between the Los Blancos Legends and Borussia Dortmund Legends.
The two teams are set to face off in the 12th edition of the Corazón Classic Match, which will take place on 7 June 2025.
Kroos’s last match for Real Madrid was the 2024 UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
Recall that the encounter ended in a 2–0 victory for Real Madrid.
After the match, Kroos represented the national team of Germany at the Euros before announcing his retirement from professional football.
Kroos’s last home game for Madrid was a LaLiga match against Real Betis on 25 May 2024.
However, the 35-year-old will once again step onto the pitch at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Confirming the return, Kroos wrote on Instagram on Saturday: “Bernabéu, I‘ll see you again ‘‘
Apart from Kroos, three other former Real Madrid players – Iker Casillas, Pepe, and Marcelo – will also feature in the legends match.
