UCL: Arsenal, Milan win as Real Madrid fight back to thrash Dortmund

Arsenal bounced back from their shock defeat against Bournemouth last Sunday to seal a 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Gunners won the game from the first half as a 29th-minute own goal by Dmytro Riznyk handed them all three points.

The result at the Emirates Stadium is Arsenal’s second win of the group stage after an opening stalemate with Atalanta was followed by victory over PSG.

In Italy, Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze bagged an assist to help AC Milan secure a 3-1 thrashing of visiting Club Brugge.

At the Santiago Bernabeu, Vinícius Júnior scored a brace to help Real Madrid come from two goals down to shock Dortmund 5-2.

It was a game of two halves as the Bundesliga side led 2-0 at half time following 30th and 34th-minute goals by Donyell Malen and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens respectively.

But the hosts fought back in the second half, halving the deficit on the hour mark through Antonio Rüdiger before Vinicius netted the equaliser two minutes after.

The Spanish giants continued to push for goals and successfully completed a comeback, with Lucas Vázquez scoring, and Vinicius scoring his second and third of the night.
