Sporting CP manager, Joao Pereira has named the Arsenal duo of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli as potential threats to his side when both teams clash in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Arsenal and Sporting CP will face off at Estadio Jose Alvalade, Portugal, in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Sporting hammered Amarante FC 6-0 at home in the Taca de Portugal in his first game in charge on the weekend.
Addressing the press ahead of the Champions League clash, Pereira said, via Metro, “Everyone knows that Arsenal have seven points, they only have one goal conceded from the penalty spot, they are very strong defensively and for sure they will try to create problems up front, where they are very strong.
“I was more concerned with our structure, Sporting also has great players, who are having a fantastic campaign and want to continue to give answers.
“Arsenal have great players, they are strong in one-on-one with Bukayo Saka and Martinelli and there is also the situation of their offensive tactical schemes, with many goals and chances.”
