Tunisia striker Mariem Houij believes the Super Falcons will be a tough nut to crack for her team.
The North Africans will be up against Justine Madugu’s side in their opening fixture at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Casablanca on Sunday.
The Super Falcons are the most decorated team on the continent with nine titles.
Nigeria also have top quality stars including six-time African women’s Footballer of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega.
The 30-year-old Houij highlighted Super Falcons’ strength and pedigree ahead of their meeting.
“Nigeria is the most decorated team in the WAFCON. In the last edition, they were eliminated in the semi-finals by the host nation, Morocco,” Houdji told CAFonline.
