The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has told his country’s allies, including the United Kingdom, that the US will not offer any help in the future.
He stated that the US was denied assistance when it sought support from these nations during its conflict with Iran.
On Tuesday, Trump posted a message on Truth Social, urging the UK and other countries to go to the Strait of Hormuz and “just take” fuel.
He suggested that countries like the UK should have the courage to go to the Strait of Hormuz and take fuel.
Trump said, “You’ll have to learn to take care of yourselves because the USA won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you didn’t support us.”
He was referring to countries that did not take part in the attack on Iran’s leaders.
He also said those countries could buy “jet fuel” from the US, where there is plenty, if they are running out of their own supplies.
“Iran has been, in effect, devastated. The difficult part is completed. Go get your own oil!” Trump concluded in his social media post.
