“We don’t need your help,” FG tackles Sanusi over Tinubu’s reforms

The Federal Government said this in a statement by Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation on Thursday. The statement was issued in response to assertions by Sanusi on the economic reforms being implemented by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, at a public event in Lagos. Sanusi had noted that the reforms, which he described as necessary given long term mismanagement of Nigeria's economy were necessary though they have inflicted hardship on Nigerians. But the Emir said he will not help the government to explain the necessity of the reforms to Nigerians.
