A farmer, Abdulkarim, was left severely injured after armed bandits amputated his hand while he was working on his farm in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
In a post shared on X on Monday, security analyst Bakatsine wrote: “On Friday evening, armed bandits amputated the hand of a farmer, Abdulkarim, and severely injured him in Kubau LGA of Kaduna State.
“The attackers reportedly found him working on his dry-season farm when they carried out the assault. Sources say the violence was triggered after he confronted them.
“How long will farmers continue to pay the price for insecurity in their own fields?”
Authorities have yet to comment on the incident.
