A member of the The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement popularly known as Chosen, has narrated how he was allegedly abducted by Boko Haram terrorists somewhere in the northern part of the country but all attempts to kill him using several methods including detonating a bomb on him failed because of the Chosen apron he wore.
In a video clip circulating on social media platforms on Thursday, the man, while giving a testimony, claimed the terrorists used axes to cut him but the blades would not penetrate his body as he kept calling the name of the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, and repeatedly told them that he is a Chosen member.
In part of the clip, the man is heard saying:
“They used an axe to strike me, but it didn’t penetrate my body. They fired an AK-47 at me, but instead of the bullets coming out, smoke was coming out like cigarettes.
‘They also threw a bomb at me, but when the timer counted down, it stopped and didn’t explode,” he said.
On several occasions, members of the Lord’s Chosen Church have come out with outlandish and hard to believe testimonies which they attribute to the ability of their pastor and aprons they wear and claiming to be Chosen members.
One of such was a claim by a member who said 25 armed robbers attacked him, used machetes and guns on him but weapons could not penetrate his body.
Last year, another member of the church claimed he was rescued from kidnappers by lions all because he called on Pastor Mouka’s name.
“They used an axe to strike me, but it didn’t penetrate my body. They fired an AK-47 at me, but instead of bv1137, smoke came out. They threw a
at me, but when the timer counted down, it stopped and didn’t explode.”
