Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah on Sunday made history following his team’s Premier League 6-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Salah netted a brace as Liverpool defeated Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
His brace against Tottenham means the Egyptian is now the first player in Premier League history to reach double figures for goals and assists before Christmas.
Salah now has 18 goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season for Liverpool.
When asked about the record after the game, Salah told Sky Sports:
“Records? I just keep working hard! We were quite good in front.”
He added, “It’s great to achieve that at such a big club. Wherever I am going to end my career I am happy about it.”
