Brentford manager, Thomas Frank has named Liverpool as the best team in the world at the moment.
According to Frank, the Reds are a level above Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League title race.
He spoke following Brentford’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.
DAILY POST reports that Arne Slot’s side defeated the hosts, thanks to Darwin Nunez’s two late goals.
“I think overall a good performance against a fantastically good team that I think is the best team in the Premier League,” Frank said at his post-match interview after Brentford’s defeat to Liverpool.
“Of course, they are number one, so I don’t think that’s a surprise to anyone, but probably also the best team in the world.
“We just played against City and Arsenal and now Liverpool in short succession, I think they are a level above the two others right now, more complete in all phases on the game, yeah… very good, exceptionally good.”
Liverpool are now six points ahead of second place Arsenal in the Premier League table.
The Anfield club, however, have a game in hand.
