Gunmen kill 4, injure 2 at Kwara motor park

At least four people were killed while two others injured when a group of armed gunmen attacked Ilesha Baruba Motor Park in Kwara State on Easter Monday.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert focused on the Lake Chad region, disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Tuesday.

Makama stated that intelligence sources told him that about 10 gunmen opened fire indiscriminately at people relaxing at a local joint around 2130hrs.

According to the security expert, among those killed in the attack were Alhaji Ja’awire, Abduljabar, Mohammed Nasamu, and three others whose names are yet to be confirmed.

“The security forces visited the scene, where the corpses of the victims were taken to Ilesha Baruba Morgue for autopsy, while the injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment,” Makama added.
