Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen has urged his teammates to take it game by game after they defeated Beşiktaş 1-0 in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
Osimhen’s first-half goal ensured Galatasaray defeated Beşiktaş at the Tüpraş Stadium, Istanbul.
Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Osimhen urged also said also congratulated his teammates for showing strength against the hosts, adding that Galatasaray struggled after receiving a red card during the encounter.
“It was a tough opponent. There were thousands of fans. We had momentum at the start, we scored the goal,” Osimhen said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“We struggled after the red card. I congratulate my teammates for their strength. We fought very aggressively until the very end. I’m very happy.
“I’m following my coach’s instructions. There were teammates who excited and motivated me. After the goal, they called me back to defense.
“I love this club very much. I’m proud of my team. We are showing unity. We need to take it game by game.”
