Premier League announces the best player for February 2025

Mohamed Salah has emerged as the winner of the best player of the month award for February 2025 following his fantastic form for Liverpool.

The Egyptian King as he is popularly called bagged his second best player of the month award of the 2024/25 football season in the Premier League. Mohamed Salah won the award at the start of this campaign in November 2024 making it the seventh time he has been crowned as the monthly best player in the Premier League.

This means that Mohamed Salah is top of the chart when it comes to players that have won this award the most. He is on the same number with Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane, with the duo also winning the award seven times.

The Egyptian kicked off February by scoring both goals in Liverpool's 2-0 victory at Bournemouth, followed up with goals against Everton, Wolves and Aston Villa. This is the first time since 2022/23 that a player has won the award more than once in a campaign, when Erling Haaland and Marcus Rashford did so that season.

Salah scored six goals and created four assists in February 2025 helping Liverpool maintain their spot at the top of the league table behind Arsenal Football Club who are currently placed in second place.
